Mohamed Salah didn’t have the most memorable of Chelsea careers, but he’s been doing a lot better in Serie A.
The Egyptian winger was a fixture in the Fiorentina first-team during a loan spell, before moving permanently to Roma over the summer.
He scored his fifth goal of the season in a 2-1 against the Viola, but his afternoon ended prematurely in rather strange circumstances.
Salah sent off for two bookings in the space of 5 seconds. Bizarre. Second for "dissent" which was just raising his hand in frustration. Odd

Those at the game have claimed Salah told the referee to “f**k off” within seconds of going into the book.
It seems like a fairly natural reaction to us – perhaps referees in Italy are less used to that kind of language.
If it was a hard-and-fast rule over here there are a few players who would never last the whole 90 minutes.
