Former Chelsea striker gives hands down the worst excuse for missing training ever

No, it's not "my dog ate it"

The reason ex-Chelsea forward Mikael Forssell gave for missing training on Tuesday is truly remarkable. Astounding even.

There are a lot of acceptable excuses for failing to attend a training session. Illness, injury, bereavement or even the good ol’ reliable and nicely vague ‘personal issues’ are all things that you will definitely get away with citing as why you couldn’t make it to the training ground.

However, when Mikael Forssell wasn’t able to make it to his side VfL Bochum’s daily practice, he gave an unbelievably ridiculous excuse.

He claimed that he would have to marked absent that day because there was a cat sitting next to his car. No, that’s actually what he said. Check out the tweet below.
