Forget Robbie Brady, this man is the real hero of Burnley-Chelsea

Reflexes of a cat

Robbie Brady is the toast of Twitter, Burnley and the island of Ireland this Sunday.

The Dubliner curled home a peach of a free-kick to record his first goal since making the move from Norwich – coming against Chelsea, which is all the more delicious.

However, attracting slightly fewer headlines (thus far) is this amazing save that Thibaut Courtois would be proud of.

Burnley’s Ashley Barnes slipped in the process of taking a shot, sending the ball careening towards the fans behind the goal.

Sending the ball careening towards the noggin of a small boy in a woman’s arms, perhaps his mother.

With the woman helpless to do anything in the face of the fast-approaching football, the man behind the doomed duo sprung into action.

Amazing stuff.
