FootballJOE Photoshop Challenge #6: Nuno Espirito Santo celebrates

Simon Lloyd

History is made

A momentous occasion, this. For the first time ever, we give you a FootballJOE Photoshop Challenge from the Greatest League In The World™.

The Euros and Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saint-Germain have already given us plenty of ammunition these past few weeks, but with a new domestic season up and running, we now look to the Premier League for inspiration.

Manchester City’s title defence got off to the worst possible start at Tottenham on Sunday afternoon, much to the delight of new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Having seen his celebration of Heung-min Son’s winner, we (quickly gave him a second right foot and) invited you to show us what you can do with your photo editing skills.

As always, we’d strongly advise you to look at all the replies.

Here are the results…

Queen

A solid start. Nuno replaced Freddie Mercury.

Bruce

Gene McGurk imagined Nuno emulating the late Bruce Forsyth’s famous pose.

Kane

How do you deal with a want-away striker? Like this, maybe.

Beyonce

Nope. No idea. But it works.

Bowling

Connor wasn’t the only one to imagine Nuno bowling. He was, however, the only one to replace the bowling ball with Pep Guardiola’s head. For that, we say well done.

Snooker

Nuno was also imagined taking his position in the crucible, snooker cue in hand.

Jurassic

Perhaps in a nod to the man in he replaced (Ryan Mason doesn’t count), Nuno is seen riding a dinosaur.

Breakdance

Extra points here for the hat.

Billie Jean

The kid is not his son.

Beatle

Another classic. Sandro drew inspiration from Abbey Road.
