There are two ways to look at this…
- We’re screwed. Our record goal-scorer is banjoed.
- We’re grand. He’s getting minor surgery out of the way in time for the Euros.
Within 48 hours of Rob Elliot being ruled out of Euro 2016 with a cruciate injury and Jon Walters undergoing his own knee surgery, we’re inclined to be more fretful.
We could choose to take Keane’s defiant words as a soothing balm. He’ll be back sooner than ever, sure he said/posted so himself.
