Fifa 17 is very nearly here. But have we exhausted every possible Fifa 17 ratings list? No, not yet.
Today, we take you through the top ten goalkeepers on the game, even though most of you probably already know that Manuel Neuer is number one.
Still, for now at least, let’s pretend that he might not be as we start our countdown of the 10 top goalkeepers on FIFA 17...
10. Keylor Navas
Real Madrid’s Costa Rican stopper scrapes his way into the top ten with a rating of 85. Not bad for a guy who Florentino Perez was happy to palm off to Manchester as a makeweight for David De Gea little over a year ago.
9. Bernd Leno
Thought this top ten just wasn’t big enough for more than one immensely talented German goalkeeper? Think again. Bayer Leverkusen’s number one is in at nine.
8. Jan Oblak
Poor Jan didn’t manage to stop any of Real Madrid’s penalties in May’s Champions League final, but the Atletico goalkeeper is deemed the eighth best keeper on the game. That’ll more than make up for missing out on European Cup glory.
7. Samir Handanović
Sadly for Jan, he’s not the best Slovenian goalkeeper on the game. That honour goes to Samir Handanović. Despite sharing an overall rating of 87 with Oblak, the Inter Milan goalkeeper’s superior ratings for diving and reflexes are enough to see him nab seventh.
6. Petr Cech
In at six is David Ospina’s Champions League deputy, Petr Cech. The Arsenal goalkeeper has a rating of 88 for this year’s game.
5. Gianluigi Buffon
Also on 88 is legendary Italian goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.
4. Hugo Lloris
The Premier League are well represented in this top ten, and Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris’ form last season explains why he’s so well thought of by the guys in charge of deciding this year’s ratings. According to them, there are only three goalkeepers on the face of this earth that are better than him.
3. Thibaut Courtois
Chelsea’s Belgian international is in at number three, meaning…
2. David De Gea
…David De Gea is the best Premier League goalkeeper on FIFA 17. Manchester United’s saviour on so many occasions, De Gea is one of two goalkeeper to break the 90 mark on the game.
So. Who could *possibly* be the best goalkeeper on the new game?
1. Joe Hart Manuel Neuer
Yep. Manuel Neuer is still nummer eins. Who’d have guessed?
And just in case you were wondering, Joe Hart is rated at 15…
Two places behind Claudio Bravo, who has a vastly superior rating in the kicking column.
