Three players to sign
Charlie Austin
Fixture: Arsenal v Southampton
Value: 7.0 million
Selected by: 0.08%
Charlie Austin made an instant impact upon returning to the Premier League with his winner for Southampton against Manchester United in the last gameweek. 12 minutes on the pitch, one goal and eight points for Fantasy Football players.
Although he’s not certain to start against Arsenal in this gameweek, you could do a lot worse than take a punt on Austin.
Firstly, Saints are in good form, winning the last three game without conceding a goal, while Arsenal are without a win in three games. Arsene Wenger has also only got the better of Ronald Koeman twice in 10 games.
With regards Austin gaining points this gameweek, Southampton have scored more goals from crosses, 10, than any other side in the Premier League this season, and the striker scored in both his appearances against Arsenal last season.
If he doesn’t register this week, Austin will fancy his chances against West Ham and Swansea City in weeks to come.
David SilvaFixture: Sunderland v Manchester City
Value: 9.9 million
Selected by: 6.4%
An obvious one, but Silva should still score points this week. With Kevin de Bruyne out injured for an extended period, the creative onus in Manchester City’s midfield should fall to the highly capable Spaniard.
There’s been 15 goals in the last three games between Sunderland and City, and Manuel Pellegrini’s side have beaten the Black Cats 4-1 twice already this season.
Silva shouldn’t be too far away from the action at the Stadium of Light this gameweek, particularly now that Sergio Aguero is back amongst the goals.
Michail AntonioFixture: West Ham v Aston Villa
Value: 5.3 million
Selected by: 1.6%
Looking for a West Ham midfielder who isn’t Dimitri Payet? Probably not, but Michail Antonio looks like a decent option for this gameweek.
The winger has scored or assisted in four of the last five games, scoring an impressive 15 points from his last three fixtures. The Hammers are also in good form, losing just one of their last 10 games, and are unbeaten in nine at home.
While Villa haven’t won away since the first day of the season. Remi Garde’s side are unbeaten in their last three Premier League games, but the form of Payet, striker Enner Valencia, who has four goals in his last three games, and Antonio should prove too much for them.
Three players to sell
Christian Benteke
Fixture: Leicester City v Liverpool
Value: 8.1m
Selected by: 10%
Christian Benteke scored the winner in the reverse fixture this season, but the Liverpool striker has largely struggled since joining from Aston Villa in a club record deal.
It appears Jurgen Klopp prefers the more dynamic Roberto Firmino leading the line, and Benteke himself looks short on confidence. However, he’s still selected by one in 10 of Fantasy Football players, despite not scoring a goal in January.
You’d be better off allocating the funds for Benteke elsewhere.
Seamus ColemanFixture: Everton v Newcastle
Value: 5.8m
Selected by: 6.3%
It pains us to say it, because Seamus Coleman is obviously a brilliant full-back, but you’d be best off ditching the Irishman.
Unfortunately, Coleman is part of a defence that leaks goals, and playing in-front of a goalkeeper who’s decline is obvious to everyone bar Roberto Martinez.
His attacking output has also been arguably affected by Gerard Deulofeu playing ahead of him on the right-side of midfield. Coleman’s Spanish teammate tends to hug the touchline, and cut off Coleman’s chances to overlap.
So Coleman’s opportunities to provide an assist have been negatively affected, and part of a defence that can’t keep a clean sheet. He’s also only scored nine points in his last five outings.
There have been 46 goals at Goodison Park this season, more than any other ground in the Premier League, and expect more on Wednesday when Newcastle United visit.
Fixture: Sunderland v Manchester City
Value: 8.7m

Given we’ve just argued for a comfortable Manchester City win against Sunderland, it may seem strange that we’re advising you to ditch Yaya Toure, but bear with us.
Yaya’s just too inconsistent in terms of scoring points. Two goals in two games back in December seemed to signal a return to form, but he’s scored just one goal in his last five games.
With two tricky games against Leicester and Spurs to come, you’d arguably be better served selling Toure, particularly considering his high price and percentage of owners.
