They’ve been queuing round the block already.
Al Nassr fans have wasted no time in purchasing Cristiano Ronaldo shirts after his move was formally announced.
Weeks of speculation finally came to an end on Friday night as Ronaldo was unveiled by the Saudi Pro League side, joining on a contract worth a reported £175m a year.
The deal is the biggest coup for Saudi Arabia so far as one of the greatest players of all time prepares to ply his trade in the Middle East and the euphoria around the 37-year-old’s arrival has already sparked a mass frenzy.
Upon confirmation of his arrival, Al Nassr tweeted: “History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome @Cristiano to your new home @AlNassrFC.

Ronaldo joins the club after leaving Manchester United by mutual consent following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
During the exchange, Ronaldo insisted he still had what it takes to play at the top and wouldn’t be interested in any advances from the Middle East, however, the tables now appear to have turned.
As part of Ronaldo’s contract, he will also become an ambassador alongside Lionel Messi for the country as they gear up their bid to co-host the 2030 World Cup.
Both Ronaldo and Messi will be on hand to promote the country’s image as they look to bring football back to that area of the world in response to Qatar hosting the tournament this year.
