Let’s do this!
It is at five o’clock that Ireland go to war with Georgia in an effort to go one step closer on that road to Russia.
The team has been announced and it is an interesting one, Glenn Whelan starts and will captain the side with Wes Hoolahan not making the starting XI.
The full team is as followed.
Randolph, Christie, Clark, Duffy, Ward, Whelan (c), Arter, Brady, McClean, Walters, Long
Interestingly Martin O’Neill has decided to not include Daryl Horgan in the squad but does have two goalkeepers in Rob Elliot and Keiren Westwood in tonight’s squad.
The bench features John O’Shea, Richard Keogh, Aiden McGeady, Daryl Murphy, Callum O’Dowda, Kevin Long, Wes Hoolahan, Conor Hourihane, David Meyler and Jonny Hayes.
