Even Dejan Lovren must be embarrassed about this.
The Croatian defender has improved immeasurably for Liverpool this term with the change of manager seeming a key part on the former Southampton man’s renaissance at the heart of the Reds’ defence.
However not even the most die-hard Anfield acolytes would have the nerve to try and argue that the defender was one of the best players in the Premier League last month.
The stats for the season are impressive, but still, it’s Dejan Lovren ffs.
