Jose Mourinho wasn’t lying when he said Chelsea wouldn’t be sitting still in the transfer market.
And the manager at Stamford Bridge looks set to act quickly once again this summer by bolstering his attacking options – and he’s after Radamel Falcao as well.
The Colombian striker who spent the season on loan at Manchester – yep, we double checked, it was the full season – is on the verge of moving to London and joining the league champions.
Falcao, still contracted at Monaco, is ready for another loan move, this time to Chelsea with the BBC reporting that United turned down the chance to make the South American their own on a permanent basis.
Chelsea were sublime in the market last year, recruiting Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa in no time at all – the pair leading the charge to take Mourinho’s men all the way in the league.
And, now, Falcao has joined them. Make of that what you will.
This is how the Chelsea team could look next season with their new signing.
