FA Cup holders Arsenal draw giant-killing Middlesbrough

Liverpool could face another trip to bogey ground Selhurst Park

Gareth Makim

Brendan Rodgers won’t be relishing another potential trip to Selhurst Park.

The FA Cup fourth round draw took place this evening and threw up some interesting ties.

Liverpool face a fourth-round replay against Bolton next week but if they can come through that they must travel to south London to take on Crystal Palace. Selhurst Park has not been a happy hunting ground for the Reds over the past 12 months – it was the venue where their Premier League title hopes floundered last season when Palace came from 3-0 down to earn a draw, while the hosts won this season’s fixture 3-1.

Meanwhile, fourth round giant killers Middlesbrough have been handed another tasty trip, this time to holders Arsenal, while Chelsea’s conquerors Bradford will fancy their chances of another upset when they host either Sunderland or Fulham.

There are two all Premier League ties up for decision, with West Brom hosting West Ham and Aston Villa facing Leicester at Villa Park.

Manchester United will face the winner of the Preston/Sheffield United replay if they can dispatch Cambridge United at Old Trafford.

Full draw:
Crystal Palace v Liverpool/Bolton
Arsenal v Middlesbrough
Aston Villa v Leicester
West Brom v West Ham
Bradford v Sunderland/Fulham
Blackburn v Rochdale/Stoke
Derby v Reading
Preston/Sheffield Utd v Manchester Utd/Cambridge Utd

Ties to be played on weekend of 14/15 February
