The English comedian is known for his acerbic humour on US television’s hit show Last Week Tonight.
John Oliver may be Birmingham born and raised but Liverpool are his team and he doesn’t care who knows about it.
Oliver was approached by the Reds to help promote their upcoming tour of the United States. As part of the LFC TV promo, Oliver explains why Liverpool are the team to support. He remarks:
“They’re the most successful team in the history of sport. That’s not necessarily backed up with recent results but… f*** you, they’re coming back.”
There’s high praise for ‘funny, angry German’ Jurgen Klopp, a Stevie G reference and a promise for your spine to tingle when you hear You’ll Never Walk Alone.
