Ex-French keeper stops short of kneeing Zlatan in the balls during mercilessly harsh diatribe

Definitely not a Zlatan fan

Bertrand-Demanes won’t be rushing out to buy the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic shirt anyway.

The former France international shot-stopper held back no punches when he gave his opinion of the PSG forward to L’Equipe.

Bertrand-Demanes claimed the Swedish superstar striker “is a problem for PSG” and that “he needs a good slap”. The ex-Nantes player added that Zlatan’s inability to perform against the bigger sides in Europe, means that he falls short of being revered as a true great of the modern game.

“He’s only good against weak teams. To be one of the greats, you have to score against Bayern or Real Madrid, like Luis Suárez and Messi do.”

He didn’t stop describing his contempt for Zlatan there though. He continued his tirade by openly admitted his dislike for him while simultaneously scoring a dig about his perceived selfishness on the pitch.

“I don’t like him at all; he doesn’t want another forward by his side”, the Frenchman said before advising PSG to sell the player if they hope to achieve any sort of success.

Demanes also suggested that the Yes-men who surround Zlatan “make him believe that he is intelligent” and by so doing “he believes that he is the greatest”, when, according to Demanes, he is “as thick as a plank.”

Jesus Demanes, tell us how you really feel.
