In the latest Evan Ferguson transfer rumour, reports have said that he could be on the move to Italy.
The 20-year-old striker has had tough few years since his breakout season in 2022/2023, scoring just once last season in 21 Premier League games, with just three starts, for both Brighton and his loan team West Ham.
The Ireland striker has been linked to the likes of Leeds and Celtic, with Spanish outlet, Revelo, revealing that he is being offered to Serie A clubs Roma and Atalanta.
The success of a move to either would be based on his game time in the starting XI, but both sides bring European football, with Roma in the Europa League, and Atalanta in the Champions League.
The report also comes after the news that Brighton are willing to sell the Meath man at a knock-down price of around £28 million.
His form for his country has been slightly better, scoring twice in eight games over the past year.
After breaking his goal drought with an equalising strike against Bulgaria in their Nations League play-off, he spoke about dealing with criticism.
He said: “There’s nothing really I can do about it, is there? To be honest, it’s other people having that expectation of you.
“Obviously you have that expectation of yourself that you want to do well every time you play football, but you can’t really control what other people think of you.”
“I’ve had more probably bad than good in the recent times, so I’ve got used to it. I don’t really care what’s being said.”
