Eden found humour in Courtois’ hazardous error in the KC stadium.
Thibaut Courtois had a rare clanger during Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Hull on Sunday. The towering goalkeeper decided to pull a Neur and try to dribble his way out of trouble inside his own box after an awkward back-pass from Branislav Ivanovic.
Despite successfully selling a dummy on the first attacker coming through, his first touch proved to be a little on the heavy side as it landed straight at the feet of Abel Hernandez who applied the finish to level the match at 2-2. Chelsea did manage to salvage all three points thanks to a Loic Remy strike in the 77th minute.
However, Hazard, who scored the opening goal for the Blues, just couldn’t let Courtois’ clanger go. He posted an amusing photo trolling the keeper on his Instagram account on Sunday.
Hazard does bring up a valid point though. The Belgian number one ain’t bad at the shot-stopping.
