Eden Hazard may want to think twice before swapping shirts with any Irish players at Euro 2016

"It's shocking."

Eden Hazard should be on full alert at Euro 2016 because Roy Keane does not approve of his shirt-swapping antics.

Hazard was criticised on Wednesday night for swapping jerseys with Angel Di Maria at half-time of Chelsea’s Champion’s League clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

His behaviour caught the attention of arguably the most intimidating assistant manager in world football, who was in his punditry role for ITV Sport for the match. To say that Keano disapproved of his antics, would be a massive understatement.

“I’m afraid to comment on this. It’s bad enough at the end of the game, but half-time in a big game, the two guys swapping shirts? It’s shocking.”

“What is going through a players mindset. In such a big game, they are thinking about swapping jerseys at half-time? I wouldn’t even bother at the end of the game. Shocking.”

Hazard will be hoping to travel to Euro 2016, where Belgium will face Ireland in Group E. If he wishes to swap jerseys with Jon Walters, Shane Long or any of the Boys In Green, he’ll have to do so with the knowledge that Keano will be watching.
