Never change Eamon.
The RTE pundit has slaughtered the quality of Ireland’s midfield ahead of kick-off against Georgia in a crunch Euro 2016 qualifier.
“They didn’t play well in Faro against Gibraltar and this isn’t the team I would have picked,” Dunphy said.
“An awful lot depends on tempo and Hoolahan is the person who would be our playmaker and he’ll have to get on the ball deep.”
“(Glenn) Whelan and (James) McCarthy and (Jeff) Hendrick won’t offer much in that way. Hendrick offers energy, the other two offer nothing really.”

“Coleman and Brady going forward on the flanks will be dangerous. Robbie Keane – should he start tonight? I would say no, but he;s a wonderful finisher should the chance arise and Jon Walters is a worker.”
“It’s a very very conservative team selection. We didn’t play well on Friday. We need to play an awful lot better tonight.”
John Giles agreed with Dunphy regarding the selection of Keane, while Brady felt Shane Long hasn’t proved worthy of a starting spot.
“It’s very difficult for O’Neill,” Brady said.
“The players are so inconsistent, especially Long, at least O’Neill’s (team selection) consistent.”
