Dundalk FC have given a slap on the wrist to their social media team.
The SSE Airtricity League champions are in full-on Christmas mode ahead of the start of the new season getting underway next Spring.
But it seems that they may have forgotten to set the birthday clock reminder on their phones for Chris Shields and he is not happy.
The now 25-year was distraught earlier after the club seemingly forgot his birthday,

However the club did have the midfielder/defender covered on Instagram: Everyone at Dundalk FC would like to wish Chris Shields a Happy 25th Birthday. We hope you had a great day.

But Shields still wasn’t happy as he’s more of a Bebo man than a Facebook kinda guy it seems

But the tantrum seems to have worked as the club have gotten their act together on Twitter for him
