The champions are enjoying their second SSE Airtricity league success in a row.
Stephen Kenny’s Dundalk side are heading into the Christmas period full of the joys of life after completing pretty much the perfect 2015.
A league and cup double secured, and while they have lost the services of Richie Towell, they have added Robbie Benson this afternoon to their ranks as his replacement.
It’s a busy afternoon in Louth too as the club are launching their new kit for next season this evening.
The launch allowed the club also parade another new face to the club, as Patrick McEleney confirmed as joining the champions squad at the launch.

But it might be the message on the pull-up ad behind the players that might not go down so well with Shamrock Rovers fans
While it may be a statement of fact that Dundalk did indeed win the title at the home of the Hoops in October, there’s hardly a need to rub it in like this.
And some fans were not best pleased
