An ounce of breeding is worth a tonne of feeding.
That’s what they say down in Kerry at least, but Divock Origi and Jurgen Klopp certainly disagree.
The Belgian is coming good on the promise he showed at the 2014 World Cup after a shaky start to his first proper season at Liverpool.
He impressed during that year’s global football jamboree and was signed by Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers shortly afterwards.
However, he spent last season on loan in France and endured a terrible term with Lille as he struggled for form and, crucially, goals.

He’s almost at the end of his first full season now with Liverpool, and fans are warming to some all-action and pacey displays leading up to his first Premier League brace in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Stoke.
He also led the line superbly in last week’s 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
Klopp may try out an Origi-Daniel Sturridge partnership for this Thursday’s Europa League return at Anfield, and ahead of the game, the secret to the player’s physical transformation has been revealed.
According to Tony Barrett, writing in The Times, the player has put on an estimated extra five kilos this season already, and is now wearing an XL instead of his normal L jersey when featuring for the Reds.
