Diego Maradona has vaulted his ample frame into the upcoming battle for power in Fifa
The Argentina legend has claimed that should Prince Ali, the candidate beaten by shamed outgoing president Sepp Blatter at the recent Fifa Congress in Zurich, win football’s top job when the next vote is held, he will become a vice-president.
“If Prince Ali wins, I have many chances to become Fifa vice-president,” Maradona said on Argentine television.
“If I arrive I’ll clean them all up. Blatter is afraid of the FBI and the Swiss police. He was afraid to leave Fifa in handcuffs.”
