Jeff Hendrick has surely done enough to be a Premier League player next season.
The midfielder put in a series of brilliant performances at Euro 2016 for the Republic of Ireland, cementing his status as a key player for Martin O’Neill’s side and reportedly attracting attention from a number of clubs.

According to The Times, Crystal Palace, Middlesbrough and Hull City are interested in the 24-year-old, as well as Turkish club Galatasaray.
Hendrick wasn’t an automatic starter for Derby County last season, but with a new manager, and after an impressive showing at Euro 2016, the Dubliner should be a shoe-in to begin the new season as first-choice in central midfield.
Nigel Pearson has said he expects there to be interest in the player.
“Yes, he has (received attention), and rightly so. He performed very, very well,” the new Derby manager said.
“It is part and parcel of football. It’s something you have to deal with and and also make things very clear.”
Pearson also seemed to suggest that should the club receive a substantial bid for Hendrick, or any of Derby’s better players, the club would be inclined to consider the deal.
“Firstly, we will do whatever we can to keep hold of our best players. They are assets, and if you lose your assets you lose them on your own terms.”
Hendrick joined Derby as a 16-year-old from Dublin schoolboy side St. Kevin’s Boys, made his first-team debut in 2010 and has made 211 appearances in total, scoring 26 goals.
