The annual general meeting
A chance for people with issues on their chest to unburden themselves in front of the top brass.
A chance to ask questions and get answers to whatever has been puzzling them all year.
A chance to lift up the bonnet and have a look at the various parts that make up a successful organisation.
The FAI AGM is currently taking place in Sligo this afternoon, and it seems that despite much negative publicity for Irish football over the last few months – both on and off the field – there was little anger or questioning of the FAI’s top brass such as John Delaney.
In fact the CEO was actually given a standing ovation after his speech to delegates,

Things got even stranger after Delaney’s speech,
Delegate from the floor at FAI AGM: "You're the best CEO, John, that we've ever had."

Noel Kennedy from Sligo/Leitrim League given Life Membership. Speech concludes that John Delaney is ‘best signing the FAI have ever made’

The FAI must have been expecting trouble at the event as various reporters tweeted that there was heavy security around the hotel
Bit puzzled as to why there are so many security guards here at the FAI AGM in Sligo

There is actually security at the car park entrance for FAI AGM. Not a ring of steel but surely unnecessary.

While it seems the chance for any questions from the floor by interested parties was denied to those present
FAI AGM concludes without an "any other business" section, so no questions from the floor, although unlikely there would have been anyway

Unsurprisingly, there will be no press conference
