Sometimes things just don’t work out.
David Moyes was rightly given credit for testing his abilities in La Liga after leaving Manchester United, but it looks as though his spell in charge of Real Sociedad will not have a happy ending.
He kept the club in the Spanish top-flight last season with weeks to spare, but a disappointing start to this campaign could see the owners hand the Scot his P45.

Real Sociedad sit just outside the relegation zone, having won only two of their first 11 games.
His likely replacement, Eusebio Sacristan, is a former Spain midfielder who left his job as coach of Barcelona B last season.
