Manchester United’s Europa League trip Denmark just got a bit harder.
Louis van Gaal’s side face FC Midtjylland, and would be warm favourites to progress to the next stage of a competition that the United manager has targeted as a priority this season.
The team that was named earlier this evening showed four changes to the side that started against Sunderland last week, but the club could be facing a major goalkeeping issue as David de Gea will not start having picked up an injury in the warm-up, and is replaced by Sergio Romero.

There is no indication yet as to what the nature of the injury may be or how long it may rule him out for, but considering the club’s current injury crisis, it is more unwelcome news for Van Gaal.
