David De Gea does not take any guff when travelling.
The Manchester United goalkeeper had been relaxing in the United States ever since Spain were eliminated from Euro 2016 but, like last season at Old Trafford, it’s not all been smooth sailing.
De Gea was not thrilled with the service offered by American Airlines on his travels and has not hesitated in calling them out on Twitter to his almost 6 million strong following.
The USA is a spectacular country, I recommend that you visit it…And if you avoid flying with @AmericanAir, even better
— David de Gea (@D_DeGea) July 16, 2016
To cater to both club fans and supporters of the national team, the 25-year-old took the time to post the tweet in both English and Spanish.
And it went down a treat among his followers.
@D_DeGea @AmericanAir GIVE IT TO ‘EM, DAVE! It’s all about @AlaskaAir when in the states.

Not wanting the bad publicity reaching 5.7 million people without a quick response, American Airlines promptly replied and urged the Spanish number one to send his details in private.
