Daryl Horgan’s like a leaky tap… he just doesn’t stop running.
The former Dundalk man scored his second goal for Preston North End in their Championship game against Reading on Saturday.
A blistering break-away started the move off for Preston. Tom Barkhuizen took off from inside his own half and brought play right to the edge of the opposition box before dragging it back for Jordan Obita.
After his shot was blocked, Horgan was ready and waiting to pounce and fire home the rebound.

Horgan also platyed a pivotal role in the game’s opener.
He capitalised on some poor defending to take possession of a bouncing ball, dribble like a mad-man inside the area and cut it back to Barkhuizen at the edge of the box.
Barkhuizen made o mistake with his shot, curling it into the far corner of the net, giving the keeper absolutely no chance of stopping it.
Here’s another angle of the brilliant move.
