Liverpool's Darwin Núñez has continued to divide opinion after viewers were left confused by the decision to award him the Man of the Match award.
Núñez led the line as Liverpool beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Villa Park on Boxing Day. Although he didn't get on the scoresheet, the Uruguayan was still heavily involved.
The forward had multiple chances, however his final touch wasn't quite there, but stretched the Villa defence with his clever runs and remained a thorn in the hosts' side.
But after Amazon Prime opted to give the former Benfica man the Man of the Match Award, fans expressed their confusion over the decision.

Not all people disagreed with Townsend's thinking though and jumped to the defence of Núñez, instead choosing to highlight why he had been so effective, as opposed to where he could improve.
One user said: "Darwin Nunez with man of the match. Man runs his socks off and work’s unbelievably hard for his teammates. Just needs to work on his end product."

Hours after Liverpool's win in the West Midlands, it was confirmed the Reds had agreed a deal with PSV Eindhoven to sign talented Dutch winger Cody Gakpo.
Gakpo has been heavily linked with Manchester United, but Jürgen Klopp's side appear to have won the race out of nowhere, with PSV confirming that the talented youngster will head to Merseyside imminently for a medical to complete the deal.
