Are you sure you’re just not injured again, Daniel?
Liverpool’s main striker – when he’s fit and then when he actually plays – is set to leave the club, according to reports.
The Mirror are claiming that Sturridge has grown frustrated at having his desire and commitment questioned.
The England forward has been struggling with injury for around 19 years and despite bringing the Kop into full song whenever he does play, he apparently “fears he may have to leave Anfield for the good of his career.”
Just last week, we were told that Sturridge could be out for another 10 days despite rejoining training and Liverpool fans went into complete meltdown.
Then, only a few days later, Jurgen Klopp admitted that he had no idea when the striker would return.
The man in question, however, is said to have gotten fed up with supporters and staff questioning his desire to play and is looking for a move in the summer.
Among those said to be interested are Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and… *cough* West Ham.
But the Liverpool man signed a five-year contract in 2014 so he wouldn’t exactly come too cheap.
Even if he never plays.
