We’ve seen many a player leave the field with a bandaged head or a tissue paper-stuffed nose, but scratches all over your face? That’s a new one.
Hull defender Curtis Davies posted this photo after his team’s shock victory over Swansea in the League Cup. He didn’t name names, but by process of elimination we reckon the damage was inflicted by Eder, Bafetimbi Gomis, or some sort of large cat.
And there we were thinking Hull were the ones known as the Tigers.
