Kirsty Gallacher clearly had no idea that Steve Parish had blanked Sky Sports’ roving reporter on Transfer Deadline Day.
“We’ve just caught up with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish just literally a few moments ago. Let’s hear what he had to say,” Gallacher said as she threw to Palace’s training ground.
It probably wasn’t worth her while introducing the chat with Parish as he had nothing to say.

In one of the most asinine pieces of Transfer Deadline Day coverage in recent memory, we were treated to no words and the sight of Parish simply walking down the street which wasn’t exactly the most enlightening piece of breaking news for Eagles fans hoping to hear an update on the club’s pursuit of Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.
Sakho, who is seemingly not in Jurgen Klopp’s plans, was spotted in London ahead of his proposed move to Selhurst Park.
But to say that Parish was giving nothing away would be something of an understatement.
Expect this to be played at least six times before the 11 o’clock deadline.
