Dave Halliday, who played for Sunderland in the 1920's, scored over 30 goals in four consecutive seasons, Jimmy Greaves did it with Tottenham in the 1960's for four consecutive seasons and Lionel Messi has also achieved the feat across four seasons.
The goal that set the record wasn't a classic from Ronaldo, but the record he set will take something special to beat in the coming years.
