Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has said that the Real Madrid star would sell for €300m if the club decided to let him leave right now.
Mendes, who it is important to note doesn’t represent Lionel Messi, described the Portugal captain as not just the best footballer in the world, but the “best sportsman ever”.

Despite not covering himself in glory in a recent game against Cordoba, Ronaldo has been lighting up La Liga for months now with a string of stellar performances. His outstanding form in 2014 earned him his third Ballon d’Or and saw him cement his status as one of the greatest to ever grace a pitch.
When asked to put a value on CR7, Mendes explained that his buy out clause at Madrid was staggeringly high.
Cristano Ronaldo? One billion. His buyout clause one billion, so it is one billion. It is impossible to buy someone like him.
However, he admitted the club would be willing to part with him for a mark down, bargain price.
If for any reason the club decide to sell him tomorrow for €300 million, someone will pay.
Ronaldo has long been linked with a return to Old Trafford, and his recent comments professing his love for Manchester United have only intensified these rumours. However, his agent believes that Ronaldo won’t return to play for United and that he will see out his career at the Bernabeu.
He will not leave Real Madrid.
