It was Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman who delivered the news to Louis van Gaal on Monday morning, informing him that his services were no longer required – less than 48 hours after winning the FA Cup.
The Daily Mail are reporting that Ryan Giggs’ future is still up in the air, but Van Gaal’s coaching staff, Albert Stuivenberg and goalkeeper coach Frans Hoek, will be leaving with the Dutchman.

Van Gaal arrived at Carrington before 9am this morning for his meeting with Woodward, who is expected to meet with Jose Mourinho, Silvino Louro and Rui Faria on Tuesday ahead of the former Chelsea, Inter and Real Madrid manager signing a three-year contract to take over at Old Trafford.
