There will be a few familiar faces at his new club

Burnley are officially everyone’s second favourite team now.

Unless you already supported Burnley, in which case they are probably still your favourite team.

Jon Walters has signed a two-year deal with Sean Dyche’s team.

As per John Percy of The Telegraph, Burnley are expected to pay £3m for the inspirational Republic of Ireland forward.

Walters joins fellow Irish internationals, Robbie Brady, Jeff Hendrick, Kevin Long and Stephen Ward at Turf Moor.

The 33-year-old has been at Stoke since 2010 and made over 200 appearances for the club.

He will have to hit the ground running, given his new teammates have already started their pre-season training and are not taking it easy in the gym.
