This is getting beyond a joke now.
We may have reached peak Chinese league spending this morning with the new that Ezequiel Lavezzi have signed for Hebei China Fortune.
The fee involved for the player is understood to be €30million, and the striker, who was linked with a host of Premier League clubs over the last number of years, has signed a two-year deal.
68% – Ezequiel Lavezzi only started 68% of his competitive games for Paris (109 out of 161). 再见.

What makes the switch all the more baffling, as well as the fee involved, is that he only has six months left on his contract, and well, he wasn’t very good when at PSG, in terms of appearances at least.
Ezequiel Lavezzi: Has completed just 1 successful dribble in his 16 Ligue 1 apps this season

Lavezzi joins a host of well-known players who are upping sticks and moving to Asia to coin it in the latter end of their careers.
The 31 year old would still be surely good enough for a team in England or Spain, but the money obviously in China was too good to turn down.
But the stats suggest that the Chinese club may have paid well over the odds for him.
Oh, and he’s going to earn over €500k a week.
so the Chinese league are going to pay Lavezzi 400K A WEEK ? football has become disgusting 😡
