Some Chelsea fans turned on Petr Cech following his move to Arsenal

11 years of loyal service forgotten?

Petr Cech is a ‘snake’, apparently.

As he wasn’t going to dislodge Thaibot Courtious as Chelsea’s first choice goalkeeper, Cech decided to leave the club where he spent 11 years. He and his family are reportedly settled in London, and therefore didn’t want to relocate, and Arsenal are an ambitious club.

So naturally he jumped at the chance to sign for them.

Cech didn’t put in a transfer request, or cause any trouble last season, and his hand was largely forced by Jose Mourinho’s decision to drop him.

After years of service, and after winning almost every trophy possible at least once, one would imagine Chelsea fans would wish Cech all the best for the future.

Well, not all of them have.

Cech posted a personal message to Chelsea fans following confirmation of his transfer to Arsenal.

It must be stressed that most Chelsea fans commenting on Cech’s tweet were supportive of his move. Shame about the others though.

While Twitter trolling wasn’t enough for one disgruntled person, who altered Cech’s Wikipedia page.
