Jack O'Toole

Manchester United will play Barcelona in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

United advanced to the last eight thanks to a 3-1 win away at PSG while rivals Liverpool also joined them in the quarter-finals after a 3-1 win away to Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Liverpool will play 2004 winners Porto over two legs while the English teams have not managed to avoid each other with Premier League champions Manchester City drawing Tottenham Hotspur.

Meanwhile in the final leg of the draw, Ajax will play Juventus after the Serie A leaders came from behind against Atletico Madrid with the help of a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick.

Draw

Manchester United v Barcelona

Tottenham v Manchester City

Ajax v Juventus

Liverpool v Porto

Barcelona are in the last eight for the 12th successive season while Ajax’s return ends their 16-year absence from the final eight.

It is the third appearance for Spurs and Manchester City.
