Martin Odegaard has done wonders for promising Norwegian footballers.
The 17 year old was coveted by every top club in Europe before signing for Real Madrid in January 2015. He has since made his debut when replacing Cristiano Ronaldo as a second-half substitute towards the end of a La Liga game last season.
We’d imagine European clubs didn’t take long to send more scouts to the Scandinavian country in hope of unearthing the next wonderkid, and Celtic appear to have jumped the queue for Kristoffer Ajer.
The 6’5, 17 year old central midfielder has been on trial at Roma, and reportedly interested Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, but looks set to sign for Celtic, according to Norwegian media.

According to BBC Scotland, the highly-rated Ajer is due in Glasgow on Tuesday to finalise a deal ahead of a summer move when he will be a free-agent. The 17 year old spent a week on trial with the Scottish champions in January.
