You know when someone has a tricky-to-spell surname so you panic and avoid using it wherever possible?
We’ve all done it, but none of us are football clubs talking about our own outgoing manager.
Celtic’s social media team seemed petrified to risk the all-too-common ‘Delia’ mis-step with boss Ronny Deila that they promoted him to mononym status – you know, like Pele. Or Dana. Or Enya.

The Norwegian will leave Celtic Park in the summer, after two seasons in the role.
Former Stromsgodset manager Ronny (yeah, we’re not going to bother using his surname either if it’s good enough for Celtic) is on course for a second league title in two years, but suffered a shock defeat to Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
At least no one has to bother learning his surname any more, eh?
