Casemiro ‘wasn’t happy’ with Man United tactics that ‘exposed his weaknesses’

Reports have broken.

Casemiro reportedly ‘wasn’t happy’ with the tactics at Manchester United last season.

As reported by Andy Mitten on the Talk of the Devils podcast, it is believed he felt that the tactics didn’t help him.

Instead, they exposed his weaknesses.

However, the club internally believed the opener versus Fulham was one of the player’s best games in a Red Devils shirt so far.

Fernandes defends Casemiro after yesterday’s loss

Bruno Fernandes has delivered a message on Casemiro after he was substituted for Manchester United against Liverpool yesterday.

Subject to mass criticism during and after the game, the Brazilian international endured a tough first-half before being hooked by Erik ten Hag.

His wife has since defended him in a post which has today gone viral.

Now, United’s skipper Fernandes has gone on to defend his fellow midfield colleague:

“He knows that he’s going to get some [criticism] now after the game, but he has played for the two best clubs in the world, so he’s used to that. It’s not going to be a problem for him to deal with that.”

The Portuguese international also went on to say:

“We don’t need to be pointing fingers at everyone, that won’t help us now.

“What’s the point in saying Casemiro lost the ball or Kobbie [Mainoo] lost the ball? They lost the ball because they wanted to be brave. It’s part of football. Don’t make it individual.”
