Brighton and Hove Albion fans seem to be really looking forward to seeing their new boy in action.
The Championship high fliers confirmed the signing of the League of Ireland’s hottest property, Richie Towell, until 2018 on Monday morning.
The PFAI Player of the Year arrives at Falmer Stadium off the back of a phenomenal season in the greatest league in the world. scoring 29 goals to help Dundalk complete a historic double.
Although, the League of Ireland might not have the highest profile across the Irish Sea, Seagulls fans appear to know all about Towell and their reaction to his signing has been positive across the board.
Twitter users were probably the most enthusiastic about their new signing.

Some Facebook users were tentative having only seen the 24-year-old in action during his failed spell at Hibernian, but the majority are optimistic about what Towell can contribute to the side from January.
The forum users made dick jokes.
Some did have meaningful things to contribute to the discussion though.
