Where did that come from?
Borussia Monchengladbach: The home of Craggy Island’s All-Priests Five-A-Side Over 75s.
They’re big fans of Father Ted in North Rhine. Well, either that or they just reach for the first Twitter gif they can find but we think it’s the former.
The German club went sailing through to the Champions League group stage on Wednesday night with a dismantling of Young Boys and their social media account was in celebratory mode.
And we thought we got carried away making a link between Father Ted and sport.

Honestly…
We’re really sorry.
James Milner snapped a corner flag in half today. Where's Dougal when you need him? http://t.co/fVhrWMNRbr pic.twitter.com/lIWpWhq0b4

So you’ll excuse us for feeling like our territory was being threatened when a German football club tried to make the same audacious link for a half time Twitter update.
At 3-0, Gladbach were cruising and they could only call on Mrs Doyle to sum up their feelings.
There goes the half-time whistle 🙁 We see no reason to stop though…#UCL #fohlenelf #BMGBSCYB 3-0 pic.twitter.com/pIZFEGfpoN
