If Bordeaux’s new jersey was a Tom Hanks movie it would be Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
This is perhaps an unfair comparison as, unlike the 2012 Academy Award Best Picture nominee, some people have actually seen the Ligue 1 outfit’s new kit… and it’s not exactly receiving critical acclaim either.
Bordeaux have seemingly tried to emulate a Top 14 jersey with their new pink, purple and navy number for their official alternative kit for the 2016/17 season.
On closer inspection, you’ll notice that the shirt comprises of a collage of images of famous Bordeaux landmarks including the town hall and other impressive-looking monuments and buildings that someone who has never been to the city and knows nothing about it will struggle to describe in an article.

What do we think? Is this the monstrous sibling in the Bordeaux kit family that should be left chained up in the attic, hidden away from the world or is it a thing of beauty worthy of the catwalks of Paris fashion week (or the Bordeaux equivalent, should one exist)?
