Pele giving Bohs the birthday bumps.
That’s not a sentence we thought we’d ever be writing but the Brazilian football legend it seems is a big fan of the Gypsies.
The multiple World Cup winner played at Dalymount of course in front of 30,000 adoring Irish fans in 1972 when he featured with Santos, and it seems that the Dublin club made a lasting impression on the footballer.
Bohemians are celebrating their 125th year in existence in 2015 and they tweeted this picture this morning of the icon of world football looking very pleased with his red and black jersey.
The greatest one of all who played in Dalyer has wished us a happy 125th birthday. #Bohs #Pele #mrgreen #Dalymount pic.twitter.com/1nOb2hWBSH
