Clarification comes from the official Manchester United Twitter account
Manchester United’s injury woes have been well documented but today brought what looked like very serious news of a long-term injury to one of their big summer signings.
Daley Blind, who has settled in well at Old Trafford, looked set to miss six months with the knee injury he picked up on international duty. At least that was the line according to the Manchester United Twitter account.
Blind received the knock playing for Holland against Latvia and the news had Manchester United fans sobbing. However, in the last few minutes the account has clarified the comments, which still aren’t great news for United fans, but they aren’t as bad as those first reported.
More on @BlindDaley: “It’s not as bad as the doctors thought after the match. It shall be a long story – but not six months or something.”

Welcome back club football, we’ve missed you…
UPDATE: Blind has just posted the traditional thumbs up picture to Twitter. Good sign or bad sign?
