Tim Sherwood shouldn’t see any disgrace if he is to lose his job as Aston Villa manager shortly.
The former Tottenham boss has endured a terrible start to the new season, with the club on a run of six losses in their last seven games.
Sherwood kept the club in the Premier League last season, but it seems the former England player is going to follow Brendan Rogers and Dick Advocaat as the next top flight manager to leave his post.
And it appears that the club have already lined up his successor; a certain former Manchester United manager by the name of David Moyes.
Moyes isn’t exactly enjoying a spectacular time in his first full season with Real Sociedad, and in fact has the same record of Sherwood so far this campaign with a run of six losses also in his last seven games.
But the Scot is understood to be keen to return to England and sees a chance to rehabilitate his public image in the Midlands.
If he does get the job can we expect Villa to try and tempt Marouane Fellaini to Villa Park?
