Social media is presenting a big problem for Premier League teams, according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The longest-serving manager in English football has suggested Twitter and other social networks allow negativity to grow as fans find others who share their opinion.
“Before your opinion was a bit more isolated,” the Frenchman is quoted as saying in The Guardian.
“Today straight away it becomes a stream of people who think the same way and they become a force. Maybe that’s the reason, I don’t know.”
While social media presents a problem for all clubs these days, it does seem to have a certain added significance for the Gunners.
