Arsene Wenger has just had a very good day at the end of a very difficult season.
The Arsenal manager watched his side win 2-1 at Wembley against the heavily fancied Chelsea at Wembley. Wenger’s side weren’t expected to pose much threat to the newly crowned Premier League champions, who finished 18 points ahead of them in the table.
However, Arsenal fully deserved the win on Saturday, thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey, and claimed their thirteenth FA Cup, more than any other club.
Wenger set his own record, winning his seventh FA Cup, which means he has now won the trophy more than any other manager in the history of the competition.

Yet, despite the impressive win, many Arsenal fans will still want Arsene to leave after 21 years with the club.
The Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League, the first time under Wenger’s tenure that Arsenal have failed to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions League.

The 67-year-old was asked about his future immediately following the final whistle on Saturday evening.
Wenger wouldn’t commit to saying if he would stay or leave, but did provide a timeline on when a decision will be made.
The Arsenal manager said he will attend a board meeting on Tuesday, and the situation will be clearer on Wednesday or Thursday.
